Can’t be stylish? Then just live happily like an ordinary person.
Gentlemen and ladies, today we’ll open up and talk freely without getting bogged down in frivolous matters. Let’s discuss the reality of living. You see, the wealthy in this world are always bustling and energetic, moving through life like a tornado. However, we must understand that for 99% of people, their so-called struggles might just be the prelude to disaster! Look around; more and more people have simply vanished, just like in TV dramas where someone suddenly “passes away.” This isn’t just idle chatter; such occurrences are quite common in reality. So, today we’ll delve into the subject of “death studies.” Whether you’re interested in death, afraid of it, or believe you can live forever, it’s essential to listen carefully. It just might add some flavor to your otherwise mundane life.
Well, when I speak, my language might be a bit rough, much like coarse cloth and plain garments. It’s not flashy, but the points I make are genuine. Please bear with me, just as you would tolerate eating plain tea and simple meals. While they may not be refined, they can still fill your stomach, right?
Let’s start by discussing the differences between humans and animals. In reality, most of us are not significantly different from animals. We have a bit more cunning than other animals and can speak, but that’s about it. The skills you possess, others can also possess, and the things you cannot do, others might be well-versed in. So, don’t always believe in the phrase “I was born with talent, and it will surely be useful.” I’m telling you, in most cases, even if you go to the King of Hell, no one will use you. Heavenly beings do not assign significant tasks to mere mortals like us; we exist in this world merely to make up the numbers, much like the background players on a stage. Believe it or not.
Look at it this way: Most people can’t even properly guide their own children, yet they still dream of influencing the world. Isn’t that like a fool’s fantasy? Take the mortgage issue, for example. How many people have worked hard for most of their lives to pay off this debt, only to die without being able to do so, and yet they justify it by claiming it’s a divine mission? Give it a rest! The fact that we, the vast majority of people, have been able to exist on this planet is not because we were sent here to save humanity. If you harbor such thoughts, it’s purely narcissistic. The reason you exist in this world is quite simple: it’s simply because your parents had a fleeting whim at some point in the past. Life is straightforward like that; there’s no need for complicated explanations.
If you insist on asking me what the point of living is, I’ll tell you that it’s similar to the process by which our parents created us. We tried to find ways to prolong our lives and make them more comfortable, just like that. Don’t always think that laziness is bad; it’s actually a way to reduce the burden on your heart. Just like an old horse needs to rest after running tiredly. What’s wrong with wanting to sleep more? Sleeping longer helps strengthen our immune cells, making us feel great and enjoy everything we eat. Occasionally making small mistakes is not a big deal; it’s just like when kittens and puppies get mischievous. It’s a natural instinct in all animals, designed to stimulate our cerebral cortex and keep our bodies alive with passion. The ancients understood this long ago: “Food and desire are fundamental aspects of human nature.” This saying makes sense.
But there are so many people out there who, in pursuit of that big money, act like they’re on ecstasy and go crazy. Think about it: Are you starving to death or without a place to sleep? Even if you manage to earn a lot of money, what’s the point? Look at all those supposedly wealthy individuals who end up either killing themselves or getting bored to death. The fancy mansions and luxury cars eventually belong to no one. Let me tell you, all those people who have gone crazy over money – not only are they unlikely to actually earn a lot, but even if they manage to do so, they’re the kind of people who have the means to earn money but not the means to enjoy it. Once you’re dead, everything is wiped clean. Don’t take yourself too seriously; in the end, you’re no different from an ant. Even your own children won’t take your passing too seriously. On the surface, there might be some pomp and circumstance, but that’s just to avoid gossip from others. As soon as you leave, the clothes you wore, the blankets you slept under, the beds you slept on, the wheelchairs you used, and even the trinkets and knick-knacks you saved through frugality will be thrown directly into the trash or burned for you. Then your children will turn on each other, fighting over your house and your money. After three generations, your descendants might not even know your name. What was the point of all your struggles throughout your life?
Let me tell you, ninety-nine percent of people’s so-called hardships are self-inflicted. People do not only die when they are old; they can die at any moment. Don’t cling so tightly to that moral high ground and hold onto those lofty principles. In my opinion, as long as you are not breaking the law, you can live as you please, and it’s none of anyone else’s business! Remember how wonderful we were when we were kids? A single piece of candy could make us happy for an entire day, and our smiles were brighter than the flowers in spring. But as we grew older, we had to make life so complicated, like tangled threads that are impossible to untangle. You carry around a load of things that were never truly yours in the first place, those so-called significant matters. In reality, when your legs give out and your eyes close, none of it matters. The Earth will continue to roll forward every day, unaffected by your affairs.
Let me give you an example. There was a young man who, in order to earn more money, worked non-stop and exhausted his body. Although he managed to earn some money, it all ended up being spent at the hospital, leaving him with various illnesses. Would you say it was worth it? And then there’s that big boss who, in order to expand his business, traveled extensively and was under immense pressure, eventually developing depression and jumping off a building, losing everything. Take a look at those ordinary people who, although they earn relatively little, live happy lives, enjoying meals together as a family. The sense of happiness they experience is far superior to that of the wealthy individuals.
So, gentlemen and ladies, starting from today, we’ll do whatever makes us happy. Let all the people and things that annoy us just disappear as far as possible. We’ll live well and take good care of ourselves. Don’t worry about those trivial matters. Isn’t that the truth?
