Liang Shijie: The body is a consumption material, don''t wait for "the oil to run out and the light to dry" before you wake up

In this bustling and busy world, each of us is like a high-speed machine running on the tracks of life. But have you ever thought that our bodies are not the unbreakable and never-worsening devices, but the actual consumables? Like a candle, while burning itself to illuminate the road ahead, it is also consuming its energy a little bit.

------

Consumables are not a simple concept. Whether we are busy working in the workplace, carrying out household chores, or studying at night, we consume not only the visible physical strength, but also the blood, blood, and semen that are deep within our bodies. This breath and blood serum, like the lubricating oil and fuel in a machine, is the key to maintaining the normal functioning of the body. At the same time, we are quietly depleting our body''s yin, yang and spirit. The shade, like the moonlight of that night, was serene and nourishing; The yang is like the warm sun in winter, warm and full of energy. The spirit god, which is the inner spirit of a person, is the driving source of life. These three are interdependent and influence each other, and together they constitute our body''s "energy bank."

As we age, our body becomes like an old machine that has been in use for many years, and its ability to relieve stress, rest, and nutrient intake gradually decreases. It is like an old car, the engine power has decreased, the fuel tank capacity has become smaller, and no matter how much you refuel, you cannot run the speed and mileage of your youth. According to medical research, after the age of 30, the body''s metabolism slows down gradually, dropping by about 5% - 10% every 10 years. This means that our body''s ability to recover and repair is constantly diminishing, causing losses that are often not easily recovered.

Take chronic disease, for example. It is like a "time bomb" hidden in the body, and the long-term loss of body positive energy is self-evident. I have a friend who was a workaholic when he was younger. He worked hard for his career, often stayed up late and worked overtime, and ate irregular meals. At that time, he felt that he was in good health and could handle it, and he didn''t take those minor ailments seriously. As a result, in middle age, various chronic diseases followed, high blood pressure, diabetes, fatty liver... These diseases are like a bunch of nasty flies that linger. He had to take a handful of drugs every day, and his body was getting weaker and his mental state was getting worse. He often lamented, "I knew my body was a waste product, and I should have taken good care of it in the first place."

Look at the elderly people around us. They are like the leaves of autumn trees, which gradually lose their former luster in the wind and rain of the years. Many elderly people have this experience. When they are young, they can recover when they do some heavy work and take a night off. But now, when I move a little, I have a sore back and sore back, and I can''t get it anymore for days. This is because their bodies have been depleted over the years, like a mine that has been mined for a long time, with fewer resources and less resilience.

Since the body is a consumable product, what should we do? Could we just watch it lose each day? Of course not! We should care for our bodies as we care for precious antiques. Regular conditioning, like regular maintenance for a machine, is essential. This conditioning does not make you eat expensive health products or do unrealistic physical exercises, but starts at every step of life.

Eating right is like adding quality fuel to a machine. We should ensure that we consume enough nutrients, eat more vegetables and fruits, and eat less oily and spicy foods. Just like a car, if it is added to poor quality gasoline, it not only runs fast, but also easily damages the engine. The same is true of our bodies. If we eat unhealthy food, it will increase the burden on the body and accelerate the depletion of the body.

Exercise in moderation is like giving a machine proper exercise. Exercise can promote the body''s metabolism, enhance the body''''s immunity, and make our body healthier and more active. Just like a machine that has been idle for a long time, it is easy to rust and damage, while machines that are used more often will be more durable. We can choose a type of exercise that suits us, such as walking, running, yoga, tai chi, etc., and exercise several times a week to get the body to move.

Getting enough sleep is like charging a machine. Sleep is an important time for the body to recover and repair. Only during sleep can our body be fully rested and adjusted. Just as mobile phones need to be charged in time when they are running low, our bodies also need enough sleep to replenish their energy. Adults should get between 7 and 8 hours of sleep each day in order to keep their body in good condition.

The body is a consumable product, and this is an unchangeable fact. But we can slow the rate of its depletion by regularly conditioning it and allowing it to accompany us further and longer. Don''t wait until your body gives an "alarm" to realize the importance of health; Don''t wait until "the oil goes out of the lamp" to regret not taking good care of it in the first place. From now on, let us cherish our body, take care of it with all our heart, and let it shine even more in the years.
